Greece does not accept pointers”, stated the spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Gregoris Delavekouras, commenting on the Russian official statement that the Greek judicial authorities are in violation of human rights.
Expressing its deep concern about Athens’ decision to remand the Abbot Ephraim, the representative of the Foreign Ministry of Russia Alexandr Lukacevic estimated that the Greek judicial authorities do not respect the recommendations of the European Court of Human Rights.

Mammoth Cyprus Natural Gas Deposits

A natural gas deposit of 5 trillion to 8 trillion cubic feet has been located in an offshore Cyprus field, Cypriot President Demetris Christofias said on Wednesday.
This figure was based on what a government spokesman said was “a moderate estimate” by Noble Energy, a U.S. company that has just completed an exploratory drilling 165 km south of Cyprus.

‘Turkish TV can’t cover the news’

ISTANBUL – Turkish journalists are getting more frustrated about the increasing censorship in their country. Whenever there is big news concerning the fight against the Kurdish PKK, immediately the phone calls from the government in Ankara start coming in with instructions. And so it was this morning, after the news that dozens of civilians were killed in an air strike by the Turkish army in predominantly Kurdish southeast Turkey. A journalist who works for a big TV station says, on condition of anonymity: ‘We are not allowed to cover the news. Some journalists here are in tears, the masquerade is just unbearable.’
No big Turkish station broadcasts the news on Thursday morning. Finally at the end of the morning, they gave it some attention: the official statement of the army was released. After that, the news is shown as the government wants it. The silence has everything to do with an order from Prime Minister Erdogan, who recently met with all media bosses and instructed them not to oppose the government in the fight against the PKK.

The Year of Revolution: As the leaders of Syria and Bahrain cling to power, Patrick Cockburn explains how they have managed to resist the protesters – and wonders whether they can survive another 12 months

In three of the Arab countries east of Egypt – Syria, Bahrain and Yemen – protesters have challenged their governments over the past year but failed to overthrow them. The reasons for those failures are very different though they have important points in common. In each of these states protesters were frustrated because a significant part of the population had a lot to lose if the ruling elite were reformed or overthrown.

Greece: Top prosecutor probes Turkey-arson claim

ATHENS, Greece (AP) — Greece’s top prosecutor on Tuesday ordered an emergency inquiry into a Turkish newspaper report that Turkish government-funded agents set forest fires in Greece in the mid-1990s.
The Birgun newspaper quoted former Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz as making the allegations. But Yilmaz said he had been misquoted and that the allegations were untrue.
Greece’s Supreme Court prosecutor Yiannis Tentes launched an emergency inquiry, ordering investigations reopened into mid-1990s wildfires blamed on arson, while the Foreign Ministry said it was seeking an official response from Ankara.

Preparing for a Confrontation with Iran: Beefing Up Israel’s Missile Defense

by Michel Chossudovsky

Turning point in the Structure of Israel’s Air Defense System

In late December 2008, coinciding with the onslaught of Israel’s “Operation Cast Lead” directed against Gaza, the Pentagon dispatched some 100 military personnel to Israel from US European Command (EUCOM) to assist Israel in setting up a new sophisticated X-band early warning radar system as part of a new and integrated air defense system. (Seedefense.gov/news/, December 30, 2011). The project had been approved by Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in September 2008.

Iran threatens to stop Gulf oil if sanctions widened

Iran threatens to stop Gulf oil if sanctions widened

By Ramin Mostafavi

(Reuters) - Iran threatened on Tuesday to stop the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz if foreign sanctions were imposed on its crude exports over its nuclear ambitions, a move that could trigger military conflict with economies dependent on Gulf oil.
Western tensions with Iran have increased since a November 8 report by the U.N. nuclear watchdog saying Tehran appears to have worked on designing an atomic bomb and may still be pursuing research to that end. Iran strongly denies this and says it is developing nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.
Iran has defiantly expanded nuclear activity despite four rounds of U.N. sanctions meted out since 2006 over its refusal to suspend sensitive uranium enrichment and open up to U.N. nuclear inspectors and investigators.
Many diplomats and analysts believe only sanctions targeting Iran's lifeblood oil sector might be painful enough to make it change course, but Russia and China - big trade partners of Tehran - have blocked such a move at the United Nations.
Iran's warning on Tuesday came three weeks after EU foreign ministers decided to tighten sanctions over the U.N. watchdog report and laid out plans for a possible embargo of oil from the world's No. 5 crude exporter.
"If they (the West) impose sanctions on Iran's oil exports, then even one drop of oil cannot flow from the Strait of Hormuz," the official Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi as saying.
Rahimi's remarks coincided with a 10-day Iranian naval exercise in the Strait and nearby waters, a show of military force that began on Saturday and coincides with the heightened Western pressure on Tehran.
"Our enemies will give up on their plots against Iran only if we give them a firm and strong lesson," Rahimi said.

Former Turkish PM’s arson admission fuels anger

Greek politicians reacted angrily on Monday following the admission by former Turkish Prime Minister Mesut Yilmaz that Turkish secret agents intentionally started forest fires in Greece in the 1990s as part of state-sponsored sabotage.
The claims are not new and were common knowledge on the islands of the eastern Aegean which were particularly hard hit by wildfires in the 1990s. But Yilmaz’s comments — part of an interview published in the Turkish daily newspaper Birgun over the weekend — are the first admission by an official source that Ankara was funding subversive activities in Greece.

Netherlands party challenges Turkey’s NATO membership

Netherlands party challenges Turkey’s NATO membership
By BENJAMIN WEINTHAL, JERUSALEM POST CORRESPONDENT

Ankara accused of ‘abandoning’ Israel and France by Dutch Freedom Party.
BERLIN – The Dutch Freedom Party, the Netherlands’s third largest political party, urged the Foreign Affairs and Defense Ministries last week to reconsider Turkey’s continued membership in NATO.

Geert Wilders, head of the party, and its Mideast expert, deputy Wim Kortenoeven, accused Turkey of abandoning its allies – Israel earlier this year, and now France.
Turkey severed diplomatic and military ties with France last week, over the French parliamentary resolution on the current Turkish government’s reaction to the Ottoman Empire’s massacre of Christian Armenians in 1915. The empire preceded the modern secular Turkish state founded in 1923, and the French deemed the state’s denial that these events represented genocide to be punishable by a monetary fine.
France is a leading member of the NATO military alliance, as is Holland.
Kortenoeven, a leading European specialist on the Mideast and author of several books on the region, told The Jerusalem Post that since Turkey has a short but disturbing history of abandoning allies, it could be a lethal mistake to entrust them with the custody of a crucial element of the new Western/European defense system against nuclear rogue states such as Iran and Pakistan. The Dutch lawmakers asked that the slated missile shield to be installed in Turkey be reconsidered.

Christine Lagarde: World Economy In 'A Dangerous Situation'

Christine Lagarde: World Economy In 'A Dangerous Situation'

PARIS (Reuters) - The head of the International Monetary Fund said the world economy was in danger and urged Europeans to speak with one voice on a debt crisis that has rattled the global financial system.
In Nigeria last week, IMF Christine Lagarde said the IMF's 4 percent growth forecast for the world economy in 2012 could be revised downward, but gave no new figure.
"The world economy is in a dangerous situation," she told France's Journal du Dimanche in an interview published on Sunday.
The debt crisis, which continues into 2012 after a European Union summit on December 9 only temporarily calmed markets, "is a crisis of confidence in public debt and in the solidity of the financial system," she said.
European leaders drafted a new treaty for deeper economic integration in the euro zone, but it is not certain that the accord will stem the debt crisis, which began in Greece in 2009, and now threatens France and even economic powerhouse Germany.
"The December 9 summit wasn't detailed enough on financial terms and too complicated on fundamental principles," said Lagarde.
"It would be useful for Europeans to speak with a single voice and announce a simple and detailed timetable," she said. "Investors are waiting for it. Grand principles don't impress."
Part of the problem, she said, has been national calls for protectionism, making it "difficult to put in place international coalition strategies against it."
Lagarde added: "National parliaments grumble at using public money or the guarantee of their state to support other countries. Protectionism is in the debate, and everyone for themselves is winning ground."
She did not specify which countries she was referring to.
Emerging countries, which had been growth engines for the world economy before the crisis, have also been affected, said Lagarde, citing China, Brazil and Russia.
"These countries, which were the engines, will suffer from instability factors," she told the newspaper.

West’s policy on Syria could ignite WWIII’

West’s policy on Syria could ignite WWIII’

The situation in Syria is just a warm-up before a real confrontation, which will draw Russia and China into action, believes Lawrence Freeman from the Executive Intelligence Review magazine.

Russia and China are rightly worried about what is behind the policy of the US and its allies in Syria and Iran, Freeman told RT.

“President Obama is acting on a British geopolitical plan to force a confrontation with Russia and China, a military confrontation of which Syrian and Iran would nearly be the ignition point,” Freeman explained. “But the real goal is a war to stop the progress that Russia and China are engulfed in.”

Lawrence Freeman says that the International Criminal Court is being used as an instrument to carry out regime change with a smoke screen of human rights protection.

“The Russians and the Chinese are seeing this played out again and they are beginning to respond,” he said.“Especially the Russians, they are responding militarily by sending the Kuznetsov aircraft carrier to the Syrian borders.”

It is a risky game, Freeman admits, but he thinks that Russians are aware of the danger of what could happen if they do not do it.

“This could result – and I think the Russians and the Chinese are aware of this – this could result in World War III,” he said. “So this is extremely dangerous, and measures have to be taken now to stop these policies by President Obama and the British.”

Political analyst Marcus Papadopoulos agrees that Russia will not allow the situation in Syria to end up as it did in Libya.

“The difference between Syria and Libya is the Russian factor,” he told RT. “Russia has made it very clear that what happened Libya will not happen in Syria and they’ve already vetoed a resolution at this Security Council, so of course there’s going to be a lot more talk by the UN of what can be done but I think the Russian factor will prove to be a critical one”.

He also voiced his opinion on how to resolve the present crisis.

“What needs to happen is that the international community needs to act as a mediator between the Syrian government and the opposition parties,” he said. “And unfortunately it’s not helping – how the American, British and French governments are demonizing President Assad and they’re taking the side of the Syrian opposition.”

Germany Masters Europe

Germany Masters Europe

Check out these quotes from various news sources concerning Germany’s undisputed rise to geopolitical dominance over the nations of Europe.
“Germany is the unquestioned leader of Europe,” said Charles Grant, director of the Center for European Reform. “France is definitely subordinate to Germany, and Britain has less influence than at any time I can recall.”

Britain Suffers as a Bystander to the Euro’s Crisis

“As European leaders prepare for crucial meetings this week in Brussels, what may have seemed like timid or even bumbling leadership is looking more like a consistent strategy of brinkmanship aimed at remaking the euro zone in Germany’s likeness.”
Angela Merkel, Germany’s Chancellor is walking a tightrope by resisting “appeals to appease the financial markets by lowering borrowing costs,” and wielding “the pain of soaring interest rates as a cudgel to extract painful changes…”
“German dominance of the euro zone,” says the British press, “with Mrs. Merkel as the unofficial but unchallenged leader of Europe — has in fact already arrived.”
Forced leadership changes in Greece and Italy have become omens of German hegemony in Europe.
Merkel’s Path: Brinkmanship for Debt Crisis
Romano Prodi, former Prime Minister of Italy, and ex-president head of the European Commission said “Let’s take the German-French summit. By now it is a German-German summit. You cannot say it loudly, but it is true: Chancellor Merkel, in the end, is obliged to dictate the rules…”
“Rationality will assert itself. Germany cannot give up its fantastic economic situation in the world.”

‘Germany Must Make a Decision or the Game Is Over’

“During a televised interview back in early November, Sarkozy uttered almost unimaginable words for a French president: ‘All my efforts are directed towards adapting France to a system that works. The German system.’”
“Suddenly, Germany is being held up as a shining example for everyone else. It is almost the only country in the Eurozone that the markets still trust. It is almost the only one that has a history of carrying out far-reaching structural reforms. Almost overnight, Germany has become the de facto center of Europe.”
“It is becoming clear that Angela Merkel isn’t the only person who wants to reshape Europe in Germany’s image. The chancellor has become less inhibited about expressing her determination to revamp Europe — but many countries have already decided for themselves that Europe must follow Germany’s example if the common currency is to be saved.”
“Europe’s Germanization can be seen all over the continent.” In Italy, Prime Minister, Mario Monti’s fellow countrymen call him “‘more German than the Germans.’ Even the Italian media… has taken to listing everything the Germans do better: Their waste-recycling systems, their competitiveness and their education system.”
In Spain, the new premier, Mariano Rajoy, “has already pledged to bring the country’s national debt down to 4.4 percent of GDP in 2012, exactly as Merkel has demanded.”
In France, “day after day, the newspapers almost obsessively compare the two countries. ‘The German Europe’ was the headline of a recent article in a business magazine…”
“Georgios Trangas, one of Greece’s best-known journalists, said his country had become ‘a German protectorate of the Fourth Reich in southern Europe.’”

Europe Shudders at Germany’s New-Found Power

“Volker Kauder, parliamentary floor leader for Merkel’s conservative Christian Democrats, was not entirely wrong. ‘Now, Europe is speaking German,’ he said.”

Germans Remain Unflappable During Euro Crisis

So, what’s happening in Europe anyway? Keep the Faith has been predicting for quite some time that Germany would become the dominant ruler, even dictator of Europe. That is now obvious to most observers. Keep the Faith has also documented how Angela Merkel, the daughter of a Lutheran pastor, is working hand in hand with the Vatican to resurrect a Christian (meaning Catholic) Europe united under Roman Catholic principles. Now with Germany controlling the economy of Europe, she is nearly in a position to economically enforce the resurrection of the Holy Roman Empire. Even if two Europe’s arise, one governed by the Eurozone and the central authorities in Brussels, and one the periphery whose nations do not use the euro, Germany’s role will still impact them all in a powerful way. Even the non-eurozone nations will have to reckon with German hegemony and geopolitical influence because it will continue to loom over them.

Vatican Insider, Malachi Martin, Revealed it All

Vatican Insider, Malachi Martin, Revealed it All

In his bestselling book The Keys of This Blood, the Jesuit Professor and Vatican insider, Malachi Martin, revealed it all:

Willing or not, ready or not, we are all involved in an all-out, no-holds-barred, three-way global competition. Most of us are not competitors…. We are the stakes…. thecompetition is about who will establish the first one-world system of government that has ever existed in the society of nations. It is about who will hold and wield the dual power of AUTHORITY AND CONTROL OVER EACH OF US AS INDIVIDUALS AND OVER ALL OF US TOGETHER AS A COMMUNITY… in the third millennium…. now that it has been started, there is no way it can be called off.... our way of life as individuals and as citizens... even the badges of our national identity... will have been powerfully and radically altered forever. No one can be exempted from its effects. No sector of our lives will remain untouched.”

Martin says the Pope will be "the victor in that competition". On page 341 of his book, Malachi Martin makes it clear that this one-world government will be “dominated by an international bureaucracy which controls and directs every citizen and every nation....".
The papacy is in fact calling for the UNION OF CHURCH AND STATE under a geo-political authority that he calls a “world political authority,” exactly as Revelation chapters 13 and 17 predict.

WORLD POLITICAL AUTHORITY

WORLD POLITICAL AUTHORITY

Pope Benedict has issued a decisive appeal to world leaders in his recent encyclica, stating;; “There is an urgent need of a true world political authority, to manage the global economy with God-centered ethics…to end the current worldwide financial crisis.” [4]
Note, he does not ask for a world financial authority, but a world political authority!
The Pope continues: “it [the “world political authority”] would have to have… authority to ensure compliance with its decisions FROM ALL PARTIES.... ” [1]
The Pope added that the current economic crisis was "clear proof of ” what he called the "pernicious effects of sin....” “Such an authority," he said, would have to be “regulated by law” and “would need to be universally recognized"!!
Who is going to be in control of the “world political authority?” The Bible says it is the papacy – the harlot or the beast.
We read: ”Then one of the seven angels who had the seven vials came and talked with me, saying to me, ’Come, I will show you the judgement of the great harlot (unfaithful church) who sits on many waters (people), with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication (had illegitimate relations), and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine (false doctrine) of her fornication.’…and the woman whom you saw is that great city
(or system) which reigns over the kings of the earth. (Rev. 17:18).
Luther and the reformers were right in believing that all the Biblical signs of this Antichrist power point to the pope and the papacy.
Luther said: "It is plain that the marks of the Antichrist coincide with those of the pope’s kingdom and his followers." This statement you will find in the book of Concord; The Confessions of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, p. 327.
As we already have seen the Bible reveals it is the papacy that reigns over the kings of the earth. In the seventeenth chapter of Revelation is foretold the destruction of all the churches who corrupt themselves by idolatrous devotion to the service of the papacy, those who have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
”Thus is represented the papal power, which with all deceivableness of unrighteosness, by outside attraction and gorgeous display, deceives all nations;promising them, as did Satan, our first parents, all good to those who receive its mark, and all harm to those who oppose its fallacies. The power which has the deepest inward corruption will make the greatest display, and will clothe itself with the most elaborate signs of power.
The Bible plainly declares that this power possesses a corrupt and deceiving wickedness. ”Upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONSS OF THE EARTH.” Rev. 17:5. What is it that gives kingdom to this power? Protestantism, a power which, while professing to have the temper and spirit of a lamb and to be allied to Heaven, speaks with the voice of a dragon. It is moved by a power from beneath.” [5]
”And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, ” Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird! For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.” (Rev. 18:1-3) KJV.
”And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ”Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” (Rev:18:4)
... ”Alas, alas, that great city, wherein where made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour she is made desolate.” (Rev. 18:19) ” …For thy merchants were the great men of the earth, for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.” (Rev:18:23.)
It is this power, spiritual Babylon, that now are deceiing ALL nations, and seeking global political power - . It will eventually also seek global religious power. This power will then teem up with USA and, by law or force, introduce the mark of the beast, which is sunday sacredness. (Rev:13:11-16).
In his bestselling book The Keys of This Blood, the Jesuit Professor and Vatican insider, Malachi Martin, revealed it all:
”Willing or not, ready or not, we are all involved in an all-out, no-holds-barred, three-way global competition. Most of us are not competitors…. We are the stakes…. the competition is about who will establish the first one-world system of government that has ever existed in the society of nations. No sector of our lives will remain untouched.” [2] [Emphasis supplied]
Martin says the Pope will be "the victor in that competition". On page 341 of his book, Malachi Martin makes it clear that this one-world government will be “dominated by an international bureaucracy which controls and directs every citizen and every nation.... [3]
As we have seen, Pope Benedict is now appealing for a ‘true world political authority'. “Such an authority," he says, would have to be “regulated by law”and “would need to be universally recognized"!!
Since the pope now is appealing for a global political authority, regulated by law, we know the papacy soon will be appealing for a World Religious Authority, regulated by law. We will then begin to experience the implementation of the mark of the beast! Sunday saecredness will then be univercially implemented by law. It will soon come! It will soon be a reality.

Now, is the time to become acquainted with your God and Savior, Jesus Christ!Seek His Presence, and day by day He will seek to develop in you a genuine Love for His Wise Ways, and a Trust in Him. He will never fail you or forsake you. He longs to prove Himself to you. – Let Him prepare you for the days ahead, both physickly and spiritualy.

Summary

We can conclude, that with this appeal, the papecy is in fact calling for the UNION OF CHURCH AND STATE under a geo-political authority that he calls a “world political authority,” exactly as Revelation chapters 13 and 17 predicts…

Mesut Yilmaz: “Turkish agents burned Greek forests”

Former Prime Minister of Turkey, Mesut Yilmaz, admitted during his interview in a Turkish newspaper that Turkish secret agents are behind many forest fires in Greece!

According to Yilmaz, during the leadership of Tansu Ciller, from 1995 to 1998 agents of the Turkish MIT put fires in Greek forests!

During that period Greece encountered big fires in the Eastern Aegean islands and Macedonia. Greek secret services had information about the involvement of Turkish agents but Papandreou and Simitis governments were not able to gather more specific information.

The real domestic terrorists

The real domestic terrorists
By Michael

An organised criminal enterprise

Dr Michael Hill, the president of theLeague of the South, writes in his latest article about the greatest threat to American security, peace and prosperity: the US Federal Government. Dr Hill is a former university professor and the author of Celtic Warfare and Fire & Sword. He has led the Southern nationalist movement and its opposition to Federal tyranny since the founding of the League in 1994:

Don’t expect an appeal to the Constitution or to common decency to stop the criminal class from further terrorizing the country."

Those who support States rights, constitutional government, and the right of secession are now commonly called by the ruling elite right-wing extremists and potential domestic terrorists. We traditional Southerners are indeed familiar with this game. Had the term been around then, our ancestors—from Washington and Jefferson to Lee and Davis—would have been called domestic terrorists by the Brits and Yankees, respectively. As it was, they were simply called “traitors.” We reject the use of both terms for ourselves and for our forebears. Instead, we can make a good case that the real threats to domestic peace and quiet are on the other side. And yet we continue to pay them tribute and allow them to rule over us.

Who They Are?

The real domestic terrorists were (and are) those who oppose ordered Christian liberty and the worldview which upholds it. Indeed, Abe Lincoln and his minions have sired a long line of domestic terrorists, including most recently George W. Bush and Barack Hussein Obama (and all who aid them in their misrule). We might throw the larger part of Congress into the mix as well.

Most of what the U.S. government does is beyond the bounds of its constitutional limitations. That makes it unlawful. That which is unlawful ultimately terrorizes society. Jefferson told us that the fundamental law of the land should be viewed as chains to bind a singularly dangerous beast (the general government). For a while the beast was successfully bound; however, he slipped his chains for good in 1865 and our republic of republics was lost. Today, we live under a strange combination of socialism and fascism that would surely please a Hitler, Stalin, Lenin, or Mao as much as it would disgust our Founders.

How we came to this point is fairly clear—there was a slow and steady revolution, and most Americans were asleep while it patiently worked its way through virtually every institution in the land. Some of our fellow subjects still don’t realize what has transpired. But they soon will.

Things were bad under Bush II. But because he and the GOP masqueraded as “conservatives,” most Americans thought all was well. But as a famous Alabamian once said, there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between the two major political parties. And he was right. Bush I or Clinton; Bush II or Obama—the rhetoric may differ but the results are still the same: bigger, more intrusive, and lawless central government and less liberty and prosperity for the rest of us. Now, what little we have left in terms of liberty and property is being taken from us openly without any meaningful resistance on our part.

An Organized Criminal Enterprise

That the U.S. government is an organized criminal enterprise cannot be doubted by anyone who has kept abreast of the on-going, broad-open-daylight effort to loot the country’s wealth. The multiple trillion dollars’ worth of bailouts and related schemes have enriched even further the Money Men who pull the strings that animate the politicians, and the fleecing shows no sign of abatement. In case you’re wondering why this is being allowed to happen, remember this—your Congressmen and Senators don’t work for you; rather, they work for those who fill their campaign coffers and make election and re-election possible. They work for the Money Men, and the Money Men own “your” government lock, stock, and barrel. And they are about to own everything else . . . unless they are stopped.

Don’t expect an appeal to the Constitution or to common decency to stop the criminal class from further terrorizing the country. Of the latter, they have none. And to them, the former is but a mere scrap of parchment. In fact, wasn’t it George W. Bush who called it just a “G-d damned piece of paper?” Well, in a way he was right (but for the wrong reason, of course). The great Southern political philosopher John C. Calhoun also noted that the Constitution was but an inanimate object, incapable of enforcing itself. Rather, he said, it is up to the people, in their capacity as citizens of the several sovereign States, to make sure it is enforced. He also told us: “Only power can check power.”

So, in reality, we are in the mess we’re in because we have not done our job of keeping the singularly dangerous beast chained down. It has broken free and become our master and we its servants. In the process it has become exceedingly powerful as well. It holds us in the balance of life and death, or so it seems.

Mounting The Resistance

Any form of tyranny deserves a hard resistance. The current crop of domestic terrorists will not stop looting our wealth and our inheritance of liberty until we make them stop. It’s as simple as that. We Southerners ought to be the first to resist; such audacity is in our blood. But what can we do in the face of such irresistible power? First, we can psychologically withdraw our consent from the criminal class that rules over us. Our system is supposedly based on the “consent of the governed.” If you believe it still is, then withdraw your consent. Not even the hardest tyranny can exist without the support of the “drawers of water and hewers of wood” (to use an old Irish example). Once we withdraw our consent psychologically, then we can begin to withdraw it physically. Simply put, don’t work for them in any capacity and don’t give them anything you can keep out of their thieving hands. Don’t patronize their institutions. Don’t vote for anyone who runs in their pack. Remember, they are robbing you (and your posterity) blind under color of law without fear of reprisal. Make them earn what they steal from you.

I have been asked by some: “How do we resist this criminal element when we have no way of getting at them?” That’s a logical question. After all, who is going to march into the bowels of DC or Wall Street and arrest the President, the Fed Chairman, the Treasury Secretary, the CEO of Goldman Sachs, or even your garden-variety Congressman or Senator? They live and work like royalty in veritable fortresses constructed and guarded with the money they’ve looted from you, the peasants. They’re also protected by “the law” (which they get to make and interpret), and if you break it they’ll lock you away or shoot you. So how do you stop this criminal element? While you may not be able to exert any direct influence on the big fish, you certainly can make life very uncomfortable for the smaller fish—the enforcers who do their dirty work on the State and local levels.

History is full of examples of how occupied peoples socially ostracized their occupiers. If your community has enforcers of the present tyranny, make sure everyone knows who they are and what they’re up to. Isolate them and give no voluntary cooperation. Our rights to life, liberty, and property come from God and not from any government. Behave as if you believe this. If they tell you it is illegal to grow your own food to feed yourself and your neighbors, then grow your own food in spite of them. This restriction is not as farfetched as you might think. If they tell you to turn in your firearms, hide them away. If they show up at your door to collect them, resist. The law of self-protection is fundamental and Biblical. If they tell you it is forbidden to worship the true and living God, then do it openly in the public square. If they come to take your children, then behave like a cornered animal. Under no circumstances should you voluntarily give up your God-given rights to tyrants. They are used to a soft and acquiescing populace. Surprise them. Again, make them pay a high price for what they steal.

Resistance From The States
If you want to defend your community from the domestic terrorists, first use the proper constitutional vehicle—your State. This is where ultimate temporal sovereignty resides in our system. Of course, most (if not all) of our State governments are in the hands of men who seek the favor of the criminal class, are a part of it (or at lease aspire to be), or are scared to challenge it. But it is a much easier task to take control of your State government than it is to affect policy in Washington, DC. If your State has already passed a Sovereignty Resolution or is considering one, you have some hope. Talk with your elected State and local officials about strengthening your State Militia or State Guard (and I’m not speaking here of the National Guard—that organization is subject to federalization. It is actually part of the U.S. Army). And if you’re so inclined, join up.

We can also use our counties as bulwarks against the criminal class. The County Sheriff is the principal peace officer in his jurisdiction. As such, he can lawfully tell the Feds to “Go to Hell” and stay out of his territory. He also can deputize as many of the county’s citizens as he wishes and have them armed to the teeth. No one can over-rule him within his boundaries. Make sure your current Sheriff knows his authority and to whom he answers (you and your neighbors). If he is unwilling to use his authority for the good of the people of his jurisdiction, replace him at the first opportunity.

I discourage the formation of private militias except as a last resort. If your State and local officials refuse to serve the citizens and to protect them by the historic means of Nullification, Interposition, or Secession, then you may have reached the “last resort.” In that case, you have no other alternative except to bow to the will of your masters. Every free man and woman should exercise their rights as expressed in the Second Amendment. Moreover, they should be prepared to defend themselves and their families from actions that jeopardize life, liberty, and property. When political alternatives are no longer available, this is how it boils down. Let’s hope we never reach this point.

All We Wish Is To Be Left Alone
We common Southerners (and most other Americans) prefer to be free to work, worship, and raise our children under the arrangement bequeathed us by our Founders. We do not wish to take that which is not ours or to deprive others of what is rightfully theirs. Nor do we wish to tell others how they ought to live. We are not driven by utopian ideologies or perverse fantasies. We do not wish to conquer the world and ride it, booted and spurred, to satisfy a lust for power and position. As Jefferson Davis said, all we wish is to be left alone. But we are not being left alone; on the contrary, we are being robbed blind by the biggest, most blatant and shameless heist in the history of the world. And not only is our wealth being taken, but our liberties as well. We are also being overrun by an alien population as a result of unlimited and illegal immigration from Latin America.

So, you tell me who are the domestic terrorists? Those who wish to live in peace according to the original American arrangement or those who seek its overthrow for their own greed and ambition?

That the criminal class that now runs America has tried to make us out to be the domestic terrorists ought to tell you something. They are projecting onto us the very characteristics they themselves possess. This dishonest process is called The Law of Preemptory Accusation—they hit you before you can hit them. If they’re thieves, they accuse you of theft; if they’re liars, they accuse you of lying. If they’re haters, they accuse you of hatred. You get the picture.

It is not too late for the domestic terrorists that control this regime (both Democrats and Republicans, Washington and Wall Street) to back off and behave as they should. In truth, I believe they should apologize for all their crimes, return all they have stolen (with penalties and interest attached), pledge henceforth to obey the true and fundamental law of the land, and lock themselves up for a long stint in prison. In short, I believe they ought to be our servants and us their masters. I also believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy.

Cyprus president calls for end to Turkish gunboat diplomacy

Cyprus president calls for end to Turkish gunboat diplomacy

President Christofias has called on Turkey to abandon its “gunboat diplomacy” and instead adopt a policy of conciliation and compromise.
The President made the remarks during visits to National Guard and Hellenic Forces of Cyprus camps to wish the soldiers and the officers for Christmas and the New Year.
“If Turkey does not change its gunboat diplomacy and stop playing the part of regional police officer there will be consequences which, for sure, will not be good neither for the whole region nor the Turkish people and foremost, the Turkish Cypriots,” he said.
”I want to believe,” he added, ”that the prospects of finding natural gas will force Turkey to have second thoughts and follow a policy of conciliation and compromise both with Greece and Cyprus, to create the conditions for a truly peaceful future of cooperation and peace for all people of the region, including the Turkish people”.
He also said that colonization is way more unacceptable than occupation for the people of Cyprus, regardless of which community they belong to, adding that the victims of colonization are first and foremost the Turkish Cypriots, “who feel that they are losing their Cypriot identity and are greatly worried”.

Despite being disappointed with the behavior of Turkey and the Turkish Cypriot leadership at the talks, we are optimistic about the future, he noted, adding that Greece and Cyprus are striving together to get rid of the occupation and colonization.

Moreover, he expressed his readiness to continue striving hard towards the solution of the Cyprus problem that will bring to an end Turkey’s occupation of the island divided since the Turkish invasion in 1974.
He expressed the conviction that everyone will live in a reunified homeland of peace and cooperation “together with our Turkish Cypriot compatriots who also pay the price of the occupation as they are losing their identity”.
President Christofias said that Turkey does not care for Turkish Cypriot, adding that Turkish Cypriots are also protesting against Turkey’s illegal occupation and colonization of the island.
He said that he is in contact with Turkish Cypriots and is in a position to know very well how they feel, apart from the Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglou.
He also expressed the need to combat nationalism existing in the Greek Cypriot community.
President Christofias stressed that a patriotic act is anything which will lead to a decent compromise that will reunite Cyprus and its people in conditions of peace and friendship between the two communities and terminate the occupation and colonization of the island.
In addition, he expressed the wish that 2012 will bring a peaceful, viable and functional solution to the Cyprus problem that will reunite the country, divided since the 1974 Turkish invasion.
Asked to comment on a statement made by State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland calling on the two sides in Cyprus to ‘roll up their sleeves’ to find a solution to the Cyprus problem, he said that “our sleeves are always rolled up and our spirit is lifted and opened”.
He called on both the US and the UK to turn towards Turkey to contribute substantially to the talks. President Christofias urged the State Department to turn towards Turkey, noting that “we have all the good will to reach a solution”.
Asked to comment on the statement of the State Department spokeswoman concerning the exploratory drillings of Cyprus in its Exclusive Economic Zone and that the US would like to see the benefits of that exploration shared among all Cypriots in the context of a full settlement of issues between them, he said that “we do not need pleas from whomsoever to do what is evident to us, in the event Turkey decides to change its stance and help put an end to occupation and colonization through a viable and functional solution”.
He said that the natural resources of the Republic of Cyprus belong to all Cypriots, adding that it is agreed in the talks that the responsibility for natural resources belongs to the central government and the federal government.
Turkey, whose troops occupy Cyprus’ northern part since they invaded in 1974, does not recognise the Republic of Cyprus. UN – led Cyprus talks are underway with the participation of the leaders of the two communities in Cyprus with an aim to reach a solution that would reunify the island under a federal roof.
Following a decision by Nicosia to begin natural gas and oil exploration in its exclusive economic zone, Ankara has deployed warships in the Eastern Mediterranean and has signed an illegal agreement with the Turkish Cypriot regime in occupied Cyprus to delineate what it calls continental shelf.
Drilling has already begun and is being carried out by Houston-based “Noble Energy”, off Cyprus’ south-eastern coast.
The government of Cyprus has protested to the UN and the EU Turkey’s moves, saying it has a sovereign right to exploit its natural resources, pointing out that Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots will benefit from any benefits that may come from oil drilling.
Cyprus has signed an agreement to delineate the Exclusive Economic Zone with Egypt and Israel with a view to exploit any possible natural gas and oil reserves in its EEZ. A similar agreement has been signed with Lebanon but the Lebanese Parliament has not yet ratified it.

Turkish warships shell narrow water between Israeli and Cypriot gas fields

Turkish warships shell narrow water between Israeli and Cypriot gas fields

President Demetris Christofias has warned Turkey to stop its warships shelling the strip of water dividing the Cypriot and Israeli gas exploration zones in the eastern Mediterranean.
DEBKAfile’s military forces report that Wednesday, Dec. 21, Turkish warships began turning their guns on the strip dividing Israel’s Leviathan gas field from Block 12 of Cyprus’s Exclusive Economic Zone-EEZ, where a large gas field was recently discovered.
Neither Israel nor Cyprus reported the Turkish attacks which are staged in international waters, but both reinforced their naval units around the gas fields. It was the Cypriot president who broke the silence Friday, Dec. 23 with a warning: “If Turkey does not change its gunboat diplomacy and stop playing the part of regional police officer, there will be consequences which, for sure, will not be good – either for the whole region or the Turkish people and first and foremost for Turkish Cypriots,” he said.
On Dec. 22, Israel canceled the $90 million sale to the Turkish Air Force of Elbit’s hi-tech LOROP-Long Range Oblique Photography military surveillance system.Israeli defense sources said the transaction was cancelled lest SAR radar or LOROP technology find their way into the hands of Israel’s enemies, such as Iran.
According to our military sources, Israel timed the deal’s cancellation as a warning to Ankara to back off from its campaign of harassment in and around Israel’s gas fields.
Jerusalem, Athens and Nicosia are economic and security partners in the exploration and development of eastern Mediterranean gas resources. The same firm, Noble Energy Inc of Houston, Texas, is working both Cypriot and Israeli fields. Shares in the US company are held in Cyprus by the Cypriot national energy company and in Israel by Delek Drilling LP and Avner Oil Exploration LLP.
The recent discovery that the gas fields are much bigger than first believed has raised the stakes around them. The three governments involved are looking forward to becoming major gas suppliers to Europe and so reducing the continent’s dependence on Russian and Turkish gas pipelines.
Noble Energy’s latest estimate published Monday, Dec. 19, added 6.3 percent to the Leviathan well’s untapped potential, raising it from the previous estimate of 16 to 20 trillion cubic feet.
Nicosia too will shortly issue an upwardly revised estimate of its gas field. According to DEBKAfile’s energy industry sources, the new figure is cautiously estimated as 10 trillion cubic feet.
Both expect Ankara to escalate its nuisance offensive after the new Nicosia bulletin. As a precaution, Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis was dispatched to Washington Tuesday, Dec. 19, to talk the situation over with administration officials and obtain US support for the continuing gas enterprise and the Cypriot stance against Turkish threats.
According to our Washington sources, the advice from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was to go full steam ahead with gas drilling and ignore Turkish harassment. After their meeting, Kozakou-Marcoullis said the prospects for gas development have already dramatically increased her country’s strategic importance.
In a speech at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, she called Turkey “the neighborhood bully,” adding that a Turkey “whose foreign minister once promoted a policy of ‘zero problems’ with its neighbors is now pursuing a policy of ‘only problems.’ “

Ode to the Midwest

Ode to the Midwest
BY KEVIN YOUNG

The country I come from
Is called the Midwest
—Bob Dylan
I want to be doused
in cheese

& fried. I want
to wander

the aisles, my heart's
supermarket stocked high

as cholesterol. I want to die
wearing a sweatsuit—

I want to live
forever in a Christmas sweater,

a teddy bear nursing
off the front. I want to write

a check in the express lane.
I want to scrape

my driveway clean

myself, early, before
anyone's awake—

that'll put em to shame—
I want to see what the sun

sees before it tells
the snow to go. I want to be

the only black person I know.

I want to throw
out my back & not

complain about it.
I wanta drive

two blocks. Why walk—

I want love, n stuff—

I want to cut
my sutures myself.

I want to jog
down to the river

& make it my bed—

I want to walk
its muddy banks

& make me a withdrawal.

I tried jumping in,
found it frozen—

I'll go home, I guess,
to my rooms where the moon

changes & shines
like television.

Turkish press is beating war drums for a military action in Syria

Turkish press is beating war drums for a military action in Syria
By Eric Bruneau - ekurd.net

An article published the 24/11/2011 by the Turkish newspaper Today’s Zaman, close to the ruling AKP party, dramatically “revealed” the building, in neighbouring strife-torn Syria, of a Kurdish rebel PKK base (“despite Turkey’s warnings, Syria provides camp for terrorist PKK”). Taking advantage of the emotion caused by spectacular attacks the previous month (24 Turk soldiers died in just one of them, sparkling public outrage, with tremors felt in Europe, home to many Kurd and Turk immigrants: www.ekurd.net 24/10/2011 “Kurds around Europe attacked by Turkish fascist groups”; 26/10/2011 “Amsterdam: fears of violence after Turkish rioters attack Kurdish centre”), the article, very accurate, gave the location of that base (worryingly close to the Turkish border), its name (Rustam Bayram camp, named from a PKK “terrorist” precisely killed in a recent clash), and even the name of its commander. It is, of course, Fehmen Husseyin, codename Bahoz Erdal -who else?- a Syrian Kurd and high ranking PKK commander, never presented in Today’s Zaman but as a vindictive, bitter-ender extremist - the newspaper’s other favourite scarecrow being Duran Kalkan.
In early December another article, after a declaration by Turkey’s prime minister Arinc, said that a senior PKK member, left unnamed, had been captured. The Anatolia news agency immediately presented the prisoner as a Fehmen Husseyin right-hand man. In the same declaration the vice prime minister said the army eliminated from tha Amanos mountains, “used as a transit route to Syria by the PKK”, a sizeable group of rebels. (“Pro-PKK protesters attack civilians, Turkey captures senior PKK member”, 05/12/2011).
It is not the first time Ankara, by way of press articles, statements and else, points at a PKK threat coming from Syria.
A bit more than one year ago, the same Anatolia news agency was saying that Damascus’s troops were conducting anti-PKK operations in Syrian Kurdistan. Dozens of militants had been arrested, 11 killed in armed clashes. Syrian president Bashar al-Assad said at the time he was unaware of such military actions, a surprising statement from the head of a military dictatorship. Newaf Khalil, a Syrian Kurd journalist well introduced with the PYD, the PKK-aligned Syrian Kurd opposition party, denounced the information as a clumsy manipulation from Ankara.. “There hasn’t been any military operation”, did he say then. “It is an attempt from the AKP government to enlist Syria’s support in its general offensive against the Kurdish insurgency, and encourage president al-Assad’s al-Ba’ath regime to intensify repression against PKK cells in Syria and the PYD. It is true there are numerous Kurd revolutionaries in Syrian jails, but they are PYD -400 today- not PKK.”
For Syria became during the past years a valuable auxiliary for the Turks in their endless war against the PKK. They have a private interest in it, the emergence of the revolutionary PPYD, born in 2003, presenting a direct threat to the regime’s grip on Syrian Kurdistan.
But now the Syrian uprising totally changed the perspectives. From arch-enemy of the dictatorship the PYD became an interlocutor which can not be circumvented.
One can so understand the Turkish high command’s fears, whose troops are already locked in an anti-guerrilla war in south-east Turkey, to see a second PKK front opening on its southern flank. Until its eviction in 1999, Syria has been a rearbase for the PKK - a fact Today’s Zaman never fails to repeat. It remains a fertile recruiting ground for the organisation. When reading a PKK military statement, the birthplace of a militant killed in action, named amongst a list of recent “martyrs”, sometimes happens to be well inside Syria. “The PKK has been present for years in Syrian Kurdistan”, was saying in March, shortly before turmoil to take hold of Syria, M Hesso, a member of the PYD central committee. “It was a natural thing then, for a Kurd, to join the organisation’s armed wing. And it still is: Kurds are oppressed in Syria as well as in Turkey, and the PKK’s struggle is for all Kurds, in all Kurdistans.” The PYD’s powerbase, he added, with on the wall behind him a picture of a son who died fighting in the mountains, it is the families of the Syrian members of the PKK.
The PYD nonetheless denies there is any camp in Syria. Its representatives were already saying in the summer that they had other priorities than building PKK fortresses under the nose of the Turkish military. There is a deep distrust running between the Kurds, marginalised by age-long state discrimination -to the point some of them are not even granted actual citizenship (http://www.hrw.org/reports/2009/11/24/group-denial)- and the Arab opposition. Kurdish parties, not only the PYD,www.ekurd.net fear to see emerging from the uprising a regime even more nationalistic than the present one. There was, during spring, real concerns to see the tensions degenerate in an ethnic conflict: a report from KurdWatch said that in mid-june, a delegation of Arab tribal representatives came to see Kurdish political groups to threaten of reprisals would the Kurds join the demonstrations. (“al-Qamishli: regime threatens Kurds with repression” 19/06/2011). In an interview given the 13/09/2011 to the Iraqi Kurd newspaper Rudaw, Mishaal Tamo, leader of the Syrian Kurd party Future Movement, expressed his concerns about some Arab parties: “Some believe in democracy and the rights of all nations in Syria. There are some who are influenced by the Ba’ath regime and do not accept the others.” He was assassinated in his hometown of al-Qamishli shortly after.
This distrust has been worsening, due to the Kurds’ cautiousness, avoiding confrontation with the Syrian security forces, while in the Arab provinces demonstrators are braving live fire. The controversial de facto truce between the Kurds and the dictatorship is harshly criticised, with claims, coming from some Sunni Arab factions, but also from some Kurdish parties, and relayed by Today’s Zaman, that the PYD is actually collaborating with the regime. M Saleh Muslim, chairman of the party, angrily denied the allegations. (http://kurdwatch.org/html/en/interview6.html). They come, says the PYD, from groups they accuse of being proxies, used by the AKP to implement its pan-Ottoman agenda: the claims, as well as those made about a re-emerging “PKK second front”, are made to discredit their party and justify by advance an eventual Turkish military strike.
And, in the answer M Muslim gave, it sounds the PYyD’s patience is running thin. The party, he says, established defence committees among the population to oppose any kind of aggression. In Qandil mountains, the PKK stronghold, Duran Kalkan said the organisation’s army was ready to act would the Turks step in and try to use the unrest to impose a puppet government in Damascus. A declaration to feed Today’s Zaman’s articles: in a piece supposed to talk about a court hearing in Denmark, about the Europe-based PKK TV station Roj TV, the newspaper wrote the station would resettle in Syria, and that it was now two terrorist camps, each with a capacity of 200 recruits, which had been open in Syrian Kurdistan.(“Roj TV to broadcast from Syria if shut down in Denmark” 20/12/2011)
Eric Bruneau has worked as an analyst for a TV station in Iraqi Kurdistan. He lives in Europe and visits different parts of Kurdistan (Syria, Turkey, Iran and Iraq) for research on Kurdish issues. Eric Bruneau - ekurd.net

Greece is actually dead. The actual information coming from the Bilderberg conference

Greece is actually dead. The actual information coming from the Bilderberg conference

Greece’s problems haven’t just uncovered the structurel defects with theWestern Financial Union, however also have uncovered the actual structural issues within the worldwide overall economy. Federal government authorities all over the world have replied towards this financial debt issue through adding much more financial debt.
Regrettably, piling financial debt upon financial debt can’t resolve the situation. This is exactly what a Ponzi plan, Las Vegas-like top secret gambling house appears like. To maintain the actual pyramid-like framework from severe economical collapse, increasingly more cash is doled out and about through those wanting to maintain the speculation going.
This turmoil reaction only has amplified a dynamic which made the turmoil to start with: Easy credit indicates financial debt. In the past, financial downturn usually result in sovereign financial debt crisis. As well as sovereign financial debt turmoil typically ended in currency disaster and also extremely hard financial periods ahead.
This sovereign financial debt turmoil continues to be unfolding. This past year, European countries, attempting desperation to resolve the actual situation associated with fragile countries inside the Euro sector, devalued the actual Euro as well as overpriced away this financial debt to be able to stop the downwards spinning.
The issue is 3 fold. To begin with, member says cannot decrease the value of its foreign currency to make it’s exports more aggressive. Secondly, it can’t undertake a good expansive financial policy. Lastly, it can’t mount any properly extensive financial scheme due to the limitations from the EU’s expansion as well as stableness pact. Therefore, as Western european fellow member states don’t manage their own financial policies, financial debt decline becomes typically the only alternative. European union will be actually backed right into a the corner.
Just as Bilderberg confesses right behind shut doorways, Greece will never repay what it really owes the actual markets. Never. Plus they are not necessarily the only-ones.
Previous Dutch Financial Minister Willem-Vermeend authored within De Telegraaf in which “Greece ought to leave the actual euro, considering that it’ll not be capable of paying back it’s debts.
And also that´s something which Bilderberg top notch fully understand exceptionally well. Actual lack of employment numbers are about 19%. Based on IMF-Bilderberg attendee, The yerar 2012 forecasted joblessness numbers for Greece may top twenty five percent.
Bilderberg is only able to pray this data never can make it to the top webpages regarding top well known magazines. In the 2011 conference, Bilderberg had been looking at methods to restructure Greece’s financial debt, not for that benefit of A holiday in greece, but rather for that benefit of the actual financial top notch who are in position to lose their own shirt in the event that Greece isn’t able.
Alternatively, the default might destabilise markets as well as lead ultimately to score downgrades of additional weak dinar zone states for example Spain, and Italy, Ireland as well as Portugal. ECB authorities have frequently reported the potential risk of marketplace chaos within explaining their own opposition to some Greek financial debt restructuring.
One particular face-saving choice getting considered is really a financial debt trade. Holders involving Greek bonds might trade all of them intended for longer-dated bonds, providing Greece some more yrs to repay the actual three hundred and forty billion euro financial debt. Nevertheless, with this choice to work, non-public investors should be convinced to be able to share the responsibility associated with saving Greece. In the event the option of non-public investors does not work-out, Portugal was being regarded as the backer from the debt trade, according to resources in the Bilderberg meeting.
Simultaneously, europe and also IMF are intending to announce another bailout with Greece, therefore recognizing that the very first a hundred and ten billion euro save which was released within May the year 2010 is a spectacular failing as Athens doesn’t quite get its financial reform focuses on by a kilometer.
But there is one other issue with a non-reflex debt trade. How do you convince investors who have been burnt the very first time to take part in this, again? Ultimately, if Bilderberg offers their method, taxpayers is going to be burdened having a large part from the bailout of poor speculations and federal government debts.
Another bailout will include unparalleled as well as draconian exterior supervision associated with Greece’s economy, each private and public investing. This concerns Bilderberg, especially in gentle of This year massive nationwide protests across the nation.
The situation of Greece’s leave from the Dinar is now formally upon the particular table, much like ways to do that. As in Iceland, the actual Greek austerity steps are to be offer a nationwide referendum – along with polls confirming that a few 85 percent associated with Greeks reject the actual bank-bailout-austerity strategy. Greece’s work movement has been powerful, and the financial debt crisis is actually further radicalizing this. So, the actual question for that Bilderberg elite, is how you can get rid of A holiday in greece, while coming across helping all of them come out of the actual depression.
Through threatening in order to withdraw assistance for banking institutions in nations such as A holiday in greece if they rebuild big debts, the actual ECB is virtually inciting operates on banks as well as forcing the actual member nation out from the union. Within Greece, a lot more than 85 per cent regarding Greek people are from the suggested reforms.

The Night Before Christmas

The Night Before Christmas – WWII Navy Style

By Gary Edmisten

‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the ship,

The whole crew was stirring, was it time to fight Nips?

The klaxon had sounded, General Quarters – All Hands!

That was the order, all stations be manned.

The crew was all hustling on every deck,

Get quick to that gun mount for a fast weapons check!

Medics to the Ward Room, radiomen in their shack,

The radar sees something, CIC plotting its track.

The Skipper on the bridge, the XO on watch,

Oh, what he’d give now for a good slug of Scotch.

All guns were now turning, as Fire Control aimed,

The way things were going this didn’t look tame.

The crew was thinking on this ship of gray,

Would they be soon in the thick of a fray?

And on this the most special of nights,

Douse the smoking lamp, black out all lights!

When up in the air arose such a clatter,

The crew looked up to see what was the matter.

IFF showed it friendly, the call was “Stand By,”

The tense moment broken, in relief they did sigh.

Away from the distance they flew like a flash,

At this time of night that was certainly brash.

Above were seen planes of discernable sorts,

A black PBY and eight fighter escorts.

Moonbeams reflecting from over the sea,

Set the stage now for what next they would see.

More rapid than eagles his escorts they flew,

They dipped their wings once and then flew out of view.

The PBY landed alongside the ship,

The pilot acknowledged a hell of a trip.

Through poor weather and Zeros just to get here,

His plane was full loaded, his mission was clear.

The excitement still lingered, but what could it mean?

They watched quite intently, their interest was keen.

A jumpsuited pilot and his wings of gold,

It must be St. Nick the crew was all told!

“Secure General Quarters” everyone heard,

And reference to Christmas then was proffered.

So far from home, and their loved ones apart,

What next would ensue was straight from the heart.

The Captain’s launch lowered, the Coxswain did steer,

To fetch this brave pilot and all of his gear.

Cotton rolls from sick bay were used for his beard,

His cape, a red signal flag, surely endeared.

A bundle of mail he had flung on his back,

Too long in its coming, and that was a fact.

He wasn’t really Santa, but tonight he would do,

To hand out some goodies to all of the crew.

Just look at the presents he pulled from his sacks,

Inside was there anything that he did not lack?

As he emptied his sacks, he called for some more,

These items must last them till next they make shore.

New blades for their razors, oh now what a treat!

Come next inspection they all would look neat.

“Here’s Aqua Velva,” he said with a wink,

“But this is for lotion, and isn’t to drink.”

“Cans of Quinsana, for embarrassing itch,

For those who will need this, you know whom is which.”

“And here’s pocket books racy, just what you need,

To replace those old ‘worn-outs’ too ragged to read.”

“And next time for Mog Mog, here’s baseballs and mitts,

Just think of me kindly when catching fly hits.”

“My visit’s now over, I’ve more ships to see,

And I’ll visit them each, even if only briefly.”

His escorts then came back to assure his safe flight,

And away they all flew into darkness of night.

But heard on the squawk box, as they flew out of sight,

“Merry Christmas to all – and to all a safe fight!”

A Tribute to the Merchant Navy

"A Tribute to the Merchant Navy"

McAdam September 1942

I fain would speak of a breed of men
Who plow the Seven Seas,
Whose lives are spent in ceaseless toil,
Who scorn the word appease!
Who, since this Armagedon broke
Upon a peaceful world,
Have worked and toiled and fought and died
To keep our flag unfurled.

North & South and East & West
These heroes giving all,
Have faced the dangers of the deep
In answer to a call !
Torpedoes, mines and bombs and shells
They've treated with disdain,
And fought as only men will fight
Who strike in Honour's name !

The horror of the wintry seas
In weather foul and wild,
Has seen their courage undismayed
Their manhood risen high !!
Thirst and hunger's been their lot
But still they fought the seas,
And weak and helpless called to Christ
To end their agony.

Yes some have lived to tell a tale
Of Gallant deeds sublime,
And some have died that we might live,
A memory we enshrine.
They Crossed the Bar with smiling face,
A sense of duty done,
Their course well run, their life's work o'er
A Victors Crown well won.

And in a land beyond all seas
In a harbour all serene,
Great Evening Star whose Light afar,
Shewed them Eternity !!
Full sacrifice has been their lot,
They faced the test most bravely,
Come ! Light away! our debt repay
To the men of the Merchant Navy.
