Mesut Yilmaz: “Turkish agents burned Greek forests”
Former Prime Minister of Turkey, Mesut Yilmaz, admitted during his interview in a Turkish newspaper that Turkish secret agents are behind many forest fires in Greece!
According to Yilmaz, during the leadership of Tansu Ciller, from 1995 to 1998 agents of the Turkish MIT put fires in Greek forests!
During that period Greece encountered big fires in the Eastern Aegean islands and Macedonia. Greek secret services had information about the involvement of Turkish agents but Papandreou and Simitis governments were not able to gather more specific information.
