The Journey

The Journey

Sorrow as gallows around my neck,

and in my heart it bites like a snake

a strange journey I'd like to make,

with no,no end.

My road slowly to seek, to seek

but nowhere and never a place to lie

I soul not to find, or always by

people blind and deaf  to bring my leap.

Around me a loneliness great

the houses shut, extinguished the fires

above me there 'll be no starlights

and down no woman ahead.

Hey! If I find myself in a journey like this,

strange and desolate, in unknown land

I 'll have no such lust by your hand

Love, such us now, to be missed!!!
